Photograph of Electrode/CdZnTe/ ZnTe/Graphite Substrate wafers with Guard-ring structure. Hetero-junction structure devices reduces detector leakage current and guard-ring structure depress signal cross-talk between adjacent electrode. With this type of detector, we obtained X-ray image of gold fish which published Current Applied Physics in 2009.
